This issue was first reported in mid-June 2025 (following a site migration on the CMS side), where the page itself would load without issue, but the specific search box element would not load. It affected many different users with different combinations of browser, network, and machine. Clearing the cache/cookies, changing browser security settings, or restarting the browser did not consistently resolve the issue.
It was later determined that the issue would occur for users who had bookmarked the Learning Commons homepage and had used "www." in the bookmark link. If they edited the bookmark link to omit "www." or navigated directly to the site without using "www." in the address bar, the search box would load without issue.
