We have outside scholars visit and use the Library frequently.

There are a few different (for lack of a better term) types: These types are in order of easy to a little more work.

(1) Former or active duty U.S. military who has access already to the base

(2) U.S. Non-military or one who do not have access to the base

(3) International visitors

For international visitors, security gets involve to due a check.

If he is an authorized visitor to NWC he may use the Library, but will have no checkout or night time privileges. He may use the Open Access computers, browse our collections of books and journals and ask the Reference Librarian at the desk for assistance as necessary. He could also visit the Naval Historical Collection (archives).

A visitor request form would be needed to be requested, filled out and return.
