ProQuest and DTIC are good databases to use. In the search field enter the operation name in quotation marks. For example, "Operation Starvation." For historical operatios, such as those from World War II, you should also search the U.S. Naval Institute Proceedings Cumulative Index, 1874-1977 which is located with the journal in the bound periodicals section of the library and the Air University Library Index to Military Periodicals which is located next to the emergency exit in the reference area of the library (by the printer).
