CENTRAL SEARCH allows patrons to search a wide variety of resources from a single, easy-to-use interface. This reference tool searches simultaneously the MERLN catalog and approximately 15 databases, meaning that this federated search engine seraches up to 17 resources at one time. Central Search also allows you to select a subject area to search within or allows you to selecting one or more databases. The results list includes references to books, documents, periodical articles, and information in miscellaneous formats. Many references include links to the full text of a particular document.
